Episode 7 - Inflated Church Rolls

After a 1-week hiatus (thanks, Eddie! - Ok, maybe Allen was busy too...) we discuss the issue of church membership rolls that don't accurately reflect the people who actually attend regularly. This is a major problem in many Baptist churches, where membership rolls can be inflated by as much as a 3 to 1 ratio or even worse. Eddie and Allen discuss why this is such a problem and also what are biblical ways all churches can improve in this area.

It's been a few weeks since Eddie and Allen actually podcasted 'normally' - (over the phone). This week they tackle an issue that comes up quite regularly in the local church: death. There isn't a class in Seminary entitled 'how to do a funeral.' In this episode, Eddie and Allen discuss the important ministry of serving families in the church who have lost a loved one. They also discuss how this looks like with faithful church members as compared to less faithful ones, and even with people who have died who never were a member of the church and never really exhibited the fruit of Christianity.
